So the only way of achieving a "true" variable attack at the moment is to use a ADSR either over CV or if you have a MIDI ADSR (guessing exists as a plugin somewhere?)
However, using aftertouch as a modifier should give you a "manual attack". Are you getting any pressure action using the aftertouch ...

Re: Noise related to MIDI controllers
So if im reading the EDB-2 manual correctly, the only way to get it to be isolated is to use the XLR out with ground lift on.
Regardless though, hardware MIDI should not create ground loops so i am still looking into this.

Re: Noise related to MIDI controllers
Yeah not being able to hook it up to a computer is unacceptable - i will find out whats going on.
I'm thinking this could be an issue with grounding despite the fact that MIDI is supposed to work without a shared ground (kinda the whole thing). I had some issues when developing the hardware MIDI ...

Re: Noise related to MIDI controllers
Was this using the hardware MIDI port or MIDI over USB?
With MIDI over USB this is a known issue because of the ground loop being created in between the USB cable and the audio cable. With hardware MIDI however this shouldn't be an issue - and either way, a DI box should remove any digital ...

Re: Pressure calibration question
I should mention also that since different wheels may require different settings as you said, the FAR puts the settings of the pressure calibrations into the current "actuator" - the idea is that you can create several "actuators" that you can quickly switch in between (using the software, through ...

Re: Pressure calibration question
So once you have run the calibration - or really done any settings changes - you need to click on "save settings" at the top of the main window.
I would have preferred to have the instrument just save everything as soon as you change something but the way it's designed it would potentially save ...

Re: install configuration utility failiure (MAC)
Hey, i verified that i under certain circumstances indeed get the same error that you did. I've made a fix and updated the install script and the new script works for me. Remove the old install and download the new version from github and try it now!
