Re: Noise related to MIDI controllers
It is working for now. I changed nothing, but it is working today. The DI blocks the noise as expected. Will keep you posted if it occurs again.

Re: Noise related to MIDI controllers
It is when I use the MIDI jack in when my keyboard is connected to my computer for power. If I use a separate adaptor for the keyboard, and don't plug it in to the computer, the noise is gone.
I can't remove the noise with a DI though. Will investigate further. Maybe lend another DI from someone ...

Noise related to MIDI controllers
First findings, hooked up my Far for the first time today. Calibrated, that was a bit of a hassle, but I found something that works and saved it.

Re: install configuration utility failiure (MAC)
Yes, got it working now! At least: I can open the FAR configuration utility. If all goes well, my FAR arrives tomorrow. Keep you posted!

Re: install configuration utility failiure (MAC)
I can see that the icon is in the dock of my mac, but it doesn't respond nor open if I click on it. Is that normal behaviour when no FAR is connected?

install configuration utility failiure (MAC)
Hey Karl, tried to install the configuration utility today, as my FAR will be arriving next week. I installed Python and QT6 as you instruct in the wiki, downloaded the Github code, then I ran 'setup_mac.command' from finder.
I got the following message from Terminal:
