variable attack time?

I was wondering how to achieve a slower attack. I tried assigning the channel aftertouch to the pressure baseline or modifier, but that doesn't work. I'm trying to play notes that gently come in, instead of the hard attacks that I'm having now. Am I overlooking something or is that impossible at the moment?

So the only way of achieving a "true" variable attack at the moment is to use a ADSR either over CV or if you have a MIDI ADSR (guessing exists as a plugin somewhere?)
However, using aftertouch as a modifier should give you a "manual attack". Are you getting any pressure action using the aftertouch? If you could post a screenshot of the midi mapping i might be able to help better.
As a side note i should say that i have considered integrating software LFOs and ADSRs into the firmware since you are entirely right; a slow attack on the pressure is really nice. A shallow LFO on the harmonic shift also creates a gorgeous vibrato that is right now only achievable via CV / MIDI LFO so these are certainly things i have thought a lot about.
