Hi, so I was able to get the Far running, in tune and with good resonance on several harmonics...it sounds really sweet!
However I noticed that if i switch it off and then back on without changing anything, I get very little sound and have to either turn the pressure knob up nearly all the way or do a pressure recalibration..after recalibrating, it's fine again.
Wondering if this is normal behavior or not (I recall reading in the Wiki that you should only need to do a recalibration when changing a bowing wheel, string etc)?

So once you have run the calibration - or really done any settings changes - you need to click on "save settings" at the top of the main window.

I would have preferred to have the instrument just save everything as soon as you change something but the way it's designed it would potentially save settings several times a second and that would wear out the flash memory prematurely. By forcing a manual save the memory should be good for decades.

I should mention also that since different wheels may require different settings as you said, the FAR puts the settings of the pressure calibrations into the current "actuator" - the idea is that you can create several "actuators" that you can quickly switch in between (using the software, through MIDI mapping etc.) so you don't have to keep calibrating if you often switch in between certain wheels. I figured this would be good especially for live settings
